Perched at the top of Glanrafon Hill in Upper Bangor, LLys Afon offers something quite different from the large student blocks found in most university cities. Rather than one tower with hundreds of rooms, this is a small collection of newly built apartments and refurbished flats. The one bedroom Chapel Gym apartment listed here is the standout. For anyone searching for student accommodation in postcode LL57 2RD, it combines a fully self contained layout, a short walk to Bangor University and a feature almost nobody else can match, a private rooftop garden.
